Leah Stanford is joining the UMMC School of Medicine where she will serve as an instructional designer in the Office of Medical Education. She looks forward to providing instructional support to the best students, faculty and institution in the state.
Leah obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas-Monticello, followed by a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University. Throughout a 16-year career in education, Leah has filled various roles including early childhood teacher, instructional trainer, and softball coach. Most recently serving as the instructional design coordinator at Hinds Community College.
Outside of work, Leah spends most of her time at sporting events, supporting her husband who is a football coach at Clinton, or her 12-year-old son who plays soccer and baseball. Whenever she gets the opportunity she also loves to nap and listen to music.
